• Dust

The allergen that’s most commonly found in duct systems is dust. Dust not only induces symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, and congestion, but it also has the potential to clog a duct system itself, reducing the flow of manufactured air. 

• Mould

Mould gravitates to wet and dark places. The insides of duct systems are always dark and have the potential to become wet. As such, they commonly attract mould spores.

• Lint

Traffic from petrol and diesel engines in large cities has long been known to contribute to poor air quality and smog in extreme cases. This can be especially harmful to young children living in cities.

• Pet Dander

Yes that favourite pet, cats or dog can generate pet dander which will invariably end up in your duct system as well. If you’re allergic to pet dander, this will cause you to get symptoms like sneezing, coughing, and runny nose.
